So if you read the strip from Thursday, you probably are wondering if we'll ever update properly and on time. The answer is yes, we will update properly and on time. We will have two updates a week. One of them will be drawn by Dan, one of them will be poorly drawn by me. That said, we will update every Monday and Thursday. On Monday, we'll have the strip drawn by Dan, and Thursday we'll have the strip drawn by me. That will change as Dan's drawing skills improve. Once he is able to draw strips more efficiently, he will produce them more often. Probably we'll go up to three updates a week. Dan's two updates will be on Monday and Friday, and I'll have mine on Wednesday. If you're wondering about our credibility to actually update when we say so, we will, because we are producing strips a week ahead of time. We've got the next four strips by Dan and I ready, so we can say we're not gonna miss an update for the next two weeks.
Next thing I wanted to talk about is the comic comment system. We got attacked by bots once, so the comments are now moderated. When there is a new comment, we get notified via email and we have to approve the comment. As the site grows, this system will be hard to keep track of. We got two options, we could turn off the moderation, or integrate the comments with the forum.
If we integrate the comments with the forum, everytime a new comic is uploaded, a new thread will be automatically created in the forum, and the posts made in there will be shown on the page with the comic. This requires you to have a forum account to make a comment.
I'm not too sure on which system to use. I would like some feedback from those who are actually visiting SWIDT. Leave a comment on this post to tell us what you think.
